Wendy Scinta, M.D.

Wendy Scinta M.D. earned her medical degree from Upstate Medical School and completed her residency in family medicine at Duke University. She is Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at SUNY Upstate, Diplomat of the American Board of Family Physicians and the American Board of Bariatric Medicine.

As a former electrical and computer engineer, Dr. Scinta holds several patents in the fields of robotics and medical diagnostics.

She has recently tapped back into her technical expertise as the co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of One Stone Technologies, a patient engagement software company that is focused on activating patients through personalized messaging.

 

Dr. Wendy Scinta is a nationally recognized expert on adult and childhood obesity treatment.  She recently published a book titled, BOUNCE: A Weight Loss Doctor’s Plan for a Happier, Healthier and Slimmer Child, to help parents and caregivers of overweight children.

Her BOUNCE program has received national and international attention and has been presented at multiple scientific assemblies and organizational meetings across the country.
